Ul-approved transformers
Benefits of our UL-approved transformers
- The certification of Underwriters Laboratories (known as UL) allows the use and export of our products to the USA
- Tested housing materials and insulation materials
- Our devices are easy to install without any special approval
Information about our UL files
- File E102068 - includes the approval of specific transformers - you can find them in our standard catalog
- File E493155 - Our Construction Only File - with this file we can offer you your special solution and have access to a large portfolio
- File E193331 - Our insulation system - With this insulation system we have access to a wide range of materials and can produce your transformer "according to" UL

Transformers with UL approval: focus on safety and quality
UL-approved transformers guarantee the highest safety standards and quality requirements. UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is an internationally recognized certification organization that tests products for safety and performance. Our UL-approved transformers meet the strict criteria of this organization and offer you the certainty that you can rely on first-class safety and quality
Why UL-approved transformers?
1. the highest safety standards:
UL-approved transformers undergo thorough testing to ensure that they meet strict electrical safety requirements. This certification gives you the certainty that our transformers meet the highest international standards.
2. quality assurance:
UL approval is not only a sign of safety, but also of quality. Our transformers not only undergo the necessary safety tests, but are also assessed in terms of their general performance and reliability. We therefore offer you transformers that you can rely on in every respect.
3. international recognition:
UL approval enjoys a high reputation worldwide and is recognized in many countries. This means that our UL-approved transformers have a ticket to the global market and comply with international standards.
Our product range: Transformers with UL approval
1. high quality materials:
Primary winding and secondary winding: UL ensures that the windings of the primary and secondary windings are properly insulated to prevent short circuits and ensure electrical safety. The insulation must pass certain dielectric strength tests and must not allow any leakage currents to ensure compliance with UL requirements.
Iron core: The iron core of a transformer must meet certain material and design standards to ensure efficient conduction of the magnetic flux. UL tests the materials and construction of the core to ensure that they meet the requirements for magnetic properties and safety.
Insulation: Insulation materials in a transformer must be UL-listed and meet the strict requirements of UL standards. These materials are used to insulate the electrical components from each other and prevent short circuits and leakage currents. The UL approval of ktc GmbH ensures that the insulation complies with the applicable safety standards.
Connections and terminals: The UL tests the connections and terminals of a transformer for their construction and materials to ensure that they meet the electrical requirements and ensure a safe connection between the windings and the external circuits.
2. flexibility and adaptability:
Our transformers: Our product range of transformers with UL approval includes various models that meet the different requirements of our customers. From single-phase to three-phase transformers, we offer flexible solutions for various applications
requirements of our customers: Conflicts between installation space and performance can lead to complications. ktc GmbH knows which services are possible for which sizes in order to make your product as efficient as possible. We always ensure that we offer our customers the best compromise between price and performance.
Special approvals: If you have special customer requirements, we will be happy to carry out an individual approval of the appliance for you at UL.
